We get contacted by employers and business owners after an incident or a person is hurt after an accident has happened. This happens so many times that it is very concerning. We regularly post information on what to do and how to protect your employees and try to prevent something going wrong, but unfortunatly 90% of the time Health & Safety advice is ignored. I cant work out why? Some businesses owners have suggested that because they are insured that they are covered for Health & Safety, well quite simply you are not and you will be fined heavily for breaches in compliance. Why would anybody ignore the basics of putting safety first for their employees, sub-contractors or other staff working for their business?
